All About John

Hi, I’m John. I’m a licensed massage therapist and certified personal trainer. I have also been an athlete for my entire life. I have trained in many ways over 23 years of lifting. Powerlifting was my focus in high school which shifted to bodybuilding in my early 20’s. My mid to late 20’s were geared toward a more athletic style of lifting. Now I focus purely on aesthetic and balance.

I have trained in various martial arts for roughly half of my life including muay thai, boxing, two different styles of karate, wrestling, and brazilian jiu jitsu. I played football, baseball, soccer, and basketball for years. I’ve also dabbled in many hobbies such as volleyball, golf, tennis, rock climbing, bouldering, yoga, and airsoft. Through my activities I have collected various injuries. Through these injuries I found massage.

The power and effectiveness of massage

I once believed massage was only good for relaxing and pampering. As I experienced the clinical side of massage I began to realize the power and effectiveness of it. Managing tension in muscles to provide balance is critical for longevity of health and sports performance. This is what compelled me to join this field.

I want to help other people get back their mobility and live pain free.
